Veteran actress Elize Cawood has died at the age of 68.
The news was confirmed by her daughter Jenna Dunster on Facebook.
Cawood was diagnosed with lung cancer in September last year and died on Saturday morning.
Cawood's husband and fellow actor Wilson Dunster and their daughter were with her when she died.
Cawood, who was born in Bloemfontein made her screen debut in 1979 and starred in several TV shows and movies.
Afrikaans fans will remember her in the TV series' "Konings" and "Torings" which co-starred her husband Wilson and more recently in the films "Dis ek, Anna" and "Lien se Lankstaanskoene"
