Airports Company South Africa (ACSA) confirmed that two passengers died on Saturday, one at OR Tambo International (ORTIA) and one at King Shaka International Airport.
ACSA spokesperson Ernest Mulibana says at OR TAMBO International officials received a call in the late afternoon reporting that a person had fallen from Parking level 5 to the ground level.
He says the unidentified traveller was declared dead on the scene.
Meanwhile, at King Shaka in Durban, an unidentified male passenger passed away after collapsing at the airport terminal's domestic arrival area.
Mulibana says he too was declared dead on the scene.
He says both cases have been handed over to the police for further investigation.
