Two six year old boys were killed in a hit and run on Saturday night in Belville Cape Town.
Spokesperson for ER24 Werner Vermaak says when they arrived on the scene, members of the community were standing around the lifeless bodies of the 2 boys.
They were declared dead on the scene.
It is understood from bystanders that a station wagon was traveling along Symphony Way and collided with the boys on the side of the road. Paramedics could not locate the driver of the vehicle on the scene.
Family members were called by the community to the scene prior to paramedics' arrival.
The incident was handed over to the local police for further investigation.
