Two men were arrested in separate perlemoen busts Thursday in which R3m worth of the shell fish was recovered.
A 34-year old Chinese national was arrested at a house in Weltevreden Park, Johannesburg, following a tip off and R2m worth of perlemoen was seized.
The man will appear in court on Monday and more arrests are expected.
And in Hout Bay, police also acted on a tip-off and arrested a 19-year-old man in possession of R1m worth of perlemoen.
Police stopped the young suspect's bakkie on Victoria Road and seized 40 bags filled with 2, 654 perlemoen.
