Western Cape anti-gang unit members arrested two suspects for their alleged role in the murder of a five-year-old boy on Saturday.
Police said the two, aged 24 and 29, were arrested on Monday.
The five-year-old was shot when warring parties traded gunfire in Drury Court in Lavender Hill during which a 22-year-old man was also seriously wounded.
A police spokesperson said the two suspects are believed to be linked to a series of other cases.
They are due to appear in court on Friday.
