Two suspects are expected to appear in the Komatipoort Magistrates' Court on Tuesday following their arrest at the Lebombo border post for the possession of drugs on Monday.
Spokesperson Brigadier Leonard Hlathi says the suspects, aged 48 and 50 stopped at the border coming from Mozambique when officials did a routine inspection on their truck.
Officers found a makeshift compartment in the vehicle where they discovered heroin and crystal meth worth an estimated R10 million.
Brigadier Hlathi says some alcohol was also discovered.
