Twenty-two employees killed in horror crash near Musina

Limpopo Transport and Safety MEC, Florence Radzilani, conducted a visit to the site of Sunday's horror accident between a bus and a truck which claimed a reported 22 lives.

The deceased were employees of Murray and Roberts and were on their way to the Venetia Mine where they'd been working for at least a decade.

In a statement, the company said the accident happened at around 4 p.m., and both vehicles caught alight.

The Limpopo Transport Ministry says 20 people perished on the scene, while two other people died in hospital.

MEC Radzilani will also visit the mine for a further briefing.
