Northern Cape police have arrested three people for being in the possession of nearly R1m worth of ivory, platinum, and Pangolin.
They were arrested on Tuesday at a village near Kuruman by police who were acting on a tip-off.
Spokesperson, Lieutenant-Colonel Dimakatso Mooi, said the items were discovered at the home of one of the suspects.
She said the ivory is valued at R650 000, the Platinum at R290 000 and the Pangolin is estimated to be worth R55 000.
Mooi said all three suspects, aged between 32 and 34, will appear in court soon.
