South African football is mourning the loss of newly appointed Bafana Bafana assistant coach Thomas Madigage.
He was killed last night when his car struck a donkey on the road between Polokwane and Burgersfort.
41-year-old Madigage was alone in his car at the time.
He was a long-serving assistant coach at Premiership club SuperSport United and was appointed assistant to new Bafana Bafana mentor Gordon Igesund in July.
