Tragic death of Bafana assistant coach

South African football is mourning the loss of newly appointed Bafana  Bafana assistant coach Thomas Madigage.

He was killed last night when his car struck a donkey on the road between Polokwane and Burgersfort.

41-year-old Madigage was alone in his car at the time.

He was a long-serving assistant coach at Premiership club SuperSport United and was appointed assistant to new Bafana Bafana mentor Gordon Igesund in July.

Safa president Kirsten Nematandani says its a very sad day for South African football.
