Three people were shot and killed, and two others were wounded, during a shooting incident in Eikenhof, Johannesburg on Friday night.
ER24's Werner Vermaak says one person was found dead at the scene, while two others were in a critical condition.
Vermaak says while paramedics were treating one of the critically wounded men, his vital signs deteriorated and was later declared dead.
He says another man, also critically injured, was rushed to hospital, but was declared dead on arrival.
Two others were treated for multiple gunshot wounds and rushed to a nearby hospital.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident were not yet known.
Police attended the scene and would investigate, Vermaak said.
