Three arrested for hijackings

Three men have been arrested in connection with a spate of hijackings in Soweto, south of Johannesburg.

Police spokesperson, Warrant Officer Kay Makhubela says police suspect that the men could be linked to hijackings in Naledi, Dobsonville and Kagiso.

Makhubela says the men are also linked to a recent hijacking and rape.

The men, who were arrested on Saturday, will appear in the Protea Magistrates Court on Monday.
