Three people and two dogs killed in Free State accident

Three people and two dogs have been killed in a head on collision on the N1 south bound, near Bloemfontein, in the Free State.

ER 24's Derrick Banks says the driver of a Mercedes Benz, and the driver and passenger of a VW sedan were declared dead at the scene on Saturday evening.

He says paramedics also found the two dogs inside the VW which they believed had been killed on impact.

Banks says the two occupants of the VW were brothers.
