EFF leader Julius Malema says they're heading to court for an urgent interdict against members of the public order policing unit.
He says it's not correct for the police to intervene in the proceedings of parliament.
The EFF blamed the ANC for the chaos that erupted during the parliamentary debate on Nkandla on Thursday and saw one of its MPs removed by police.
Malema says the executive has taken over parliament.
The DA says it will no longer recognise Parliamentary Speaker Baleka Mbete.
DA parliamentary leader Mmusi Maimane said Mbete had lost control of the House and destroyed her credibility as Speaker.
He says accordingly, the DA will cease to recognise her authority as Speaker.
Maimane says every time Mbete presides over the House, the DA will send only its Chief Whip, deputy Chief Whip, and those members participating in the debate itself.
Meanwhile, the SA National Editors' Forum has expressed its concerns over continued interference with the audio and visual feed each time there's chaos in the National Assembly.
Sanef Chairperson, Mpumelelo Mkhabela, says yesterday the feed was cut off at a time when there were scuffles in the House and this followed two other incidents last week.
Mkhabela says in yesterday's incident, the feed was manipulated to stay focused on the Speaker, and did not allow the public to get the full view of what was happening in the house.
Sanef has since sent a letter to Parliamentary spokesperson, Luzuko Jacobs, requesting a meeting to protest against what he termed the "soft censorship" creeping into the broadcast of parliamentary proceedings.
Makhabela says Sanef calls for presiding officers in Parliament to ensure that there is no censorship of the debates in the House, irrespective of content.
