Tensions are mounting in Johannesburg where the Democratic Alliance is leading a march on Cosatu House.
They have been met by a large crowd of Cosatu members and according to reports the march has been marred by violence.
One unconfirmed report says that a rock thrown into the crowd has injured a DA supporter.
The DA wants to hand over a memorandum to Cosatu condemning its stance on a Youth Wage Subsidy which it says could create more than 400,000 jobs.
DA national spokesperson, Mmusi Maimane, says shots were also heard in the melee.

He had clearly also been hit by a rock.
