Two teenagers, including a man and 30-year-old woman, will appear in court on Tuesday for allegedly killing an elderly man in his house in Tijgerhof in Milnerton on Saturday.
A spokesperson for police in the Western Cape Captain FC van Wyk says the four suspects were arrested swiftly and were still on the premises when police arrived.
The 79-year-old victim was allegedly tied up before being suffocated.
The man's neighbours alerted police when they heard strange noises from the house.
van Wyk says the suspects were armed with knives and a toy gun.
The suspects are aged between 17 and 30.
The name of the victim has not yet been released.
