A 50-year-old man appeared in the Cape Town Regional Court on Wednesday for allegedly raping a teenager at a modelling agency.
The 14-year-old girl arrived at the agency in Loop street for a photo shoot last month when the alleged rape took place.
Police spokesperson, Sergeant Noloyiso Rwexana, says members conducted a search and seizure operation at the agency shortly after the arrest.
Police have further requested anyone who might have fallen victim to sexual violence at the hands of the modelling agency to contact the police.
The name of the agency can not be mentioned at this time.
