A teenager has been arrested in connection with the murder of a Cape Town Magistrate, Romay van Rooyen.
A spokesperson for the Hawks Colonel Katlego Mogale says the 18-year-old suspect has been linked to the murder and was traced and arrested at his home in Mitchell's Plain, Cape Town this morning.
She says Rooyen's car that was stolen after the murder has since been recovered in Mitchell's Plain.
Van Rooyen's body was discovered by a family member at her home near Muizenberg on the 10th of September.
She worked at the Vredenburg Magistrates Court.
