The three suspects arrested in connection with the kidnapping of 6-year-old Amy Leigh de Jager have made a brief appearance in the Vanderbijlpark magistrates court on Monday.
The case was delayed for a few hours after the media made an application to film proceedings.
The State objected to this due to the fact that an identity parade still had to be done but later conceded that pictures could be taken.
Amy Leigh was taken from outside Laerskool Kollege Park exactly one week ago.
Her alleged kidnappers dropped her off unharmed less than 24 hours later.
Police were closing in on the suspects and arrested two women and one man on Wednesday last week.
One of the suspects is a 27-year-old Grade RR teacher at the very same school Amy Leigh attends.
The case that shocked the town of Vanderbijlpark made international headlines when it came to light that the alleged kidnapper was a teacher at the school.
The case was remanded until the 19th of September for a formal bail application.
The accused were identified as the 27-year-old Tharina Human, the 40-year-old Laetitia Nel and the 50-year-old Pieter van Zyl.
