A man and a woman have been arrested after police seized drugs worth at least half a million rand in Somerset West in the Western Cape.
Hawks spokesperson, Zinzi Hani, says they were arrested at a house in Helena Heights yesterday, following an intelligence-driven operation by members of the Narcotics Enforcement Burea.
She says dagga plants, syringes with dagga oil, magic mushroom, capsules and six 5 litre bottles of ethanol were found on the premises, as well as an undisclosed amount of cash.
Hani says the 46-year-old man and the 47-year-old woman will appear in court tomorrow on charges of dealing in drugs.
