Two people have appeared in the Sabie Magistrate's Court for their alleged involvement in a child sex trafficking ring.
Mpumalanga police colonel, Leonard Hlathi, said a 60-year-old businessman was granted bail of R70 000.
His 22-year-old female co-accused from Mozambique remains in custody.
The two are accused of locking children in a house in Rhenosterhoek, where they used them as sex slaves.
Hlathi said when police raided the premises, they rescued five children, aged between 12 and 17, who are believed to be related to the woman.
