Four suspected rhino poachers have been shot dead in the Kruger National Park at the weekend.
Sanparks spokesperson, Ike Phaahla, says rangers made contact with a group of six suspected poachers on Saturday.
He says a shoot-out ensued and three suspected poachers were killed while three others were arrested.
Phaahla says two rifles, ammunition and rhino poaching equipment are recovered.
The three men aged between 33 and 46 will appear in the Phalaborwa Magistrate's Court on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Limpopo police said a suspected poacher was shot dead in Crocodile Bridge while four suspected poachers were arrested in Hoedspruit.
