"Substantial decrease" in fuel price expected next month

 Energy Minister, Dipuo Peter, says there will be a "substantial decrease" in the price of fuel next month.

Opening debate on her department's 6.8 billion budget in parliament yesterday, she told MPs this would be in time for the June holidays.

The Energy Minister said they are currently witnessing a downward swing in the crude oil price and motorists will benefit from this.

She did not put a figure on the decrease.
