The group of South Africans repatriated from the Chinese city of Wuhan, the epicentre of the coronavirus outbreak, have arrived back in South Africa.
The South African Airways flight touched down in Polokwane at around 10.30 on Saturday morning.
The aircraft was chartered by the SA National Defence Force and was dispatched to evacuate those South Africans who asked the government to assist with their repatriation.
Authorities said that none of those returning had been infected with the coronavirus.
Their identities will not be revealed.
However, strict protective measures were put in place with ground crew wearing protective gear, seen approaching and disembarking the plane.
Several buses, with the drivers also wearing protective gear, will ferry the passengers in an escorted convoy to the Ranch Resort and Hotel near Polokwane in Limpopo where they will be quarantined for 21 days amid tight security.
