The SA Clothing and Textile Workers' Union is, according to weekend media reports, involved in a deal to buy a United States pornographic empire.
The Sunday Times reports that the union has a stake in Hosken Consolidated Investments, which itself has interests in a company called Longkloof Limited, who is trying to buy US porn giant New Frontier Media.
The union's secretary-general, Andre Kriel says the union's position on the deal is "simple", as it is not getting involved in pornography.
Meanwhile Cosatu secretary-general, Zwelinzima Vavi says Sactwu has to find a way out of the deal.
