Solidarity wants answers from SAA for excluding whites

Trade union, Solidarity says it has written to South African Airways, asking for reasons for excluding white men from the company's cadet pilot programme.
Deputy secretary-general, Dirk Hermann, says the union received several complaints from white men who had unsuccessfully applied to join the cadet programme.
On Monday, SAA announced it had completed the selection process of candidates for its cadet pilot programme for a which a total of 40 candidates qualified.
Just seven white women and no white males, had been accepted into programme.
