The DA offered its condolences on Friday to the families of for six people who were found dead aboard a fishing vessel that caught alight in Durban Harbour.
Rescuers worked through the night and made the gruesome discovery around 2 am on Friday morning, said Rescue Care spokesperson, Garrith Jamieson.
"Three men were treated on scene and transported through to hospital [on Thursday] yesterday afternoon by Rescue Care Paramedics.
DA eThekwini Caucus Leader Nicole Graham said the harbour has seen tragedies of late, with a recent incident where a driver lost his life after he drove his bakkie into the water."
