Six die in head-on collision in Durban

Six people have been killed after a head-on collision on the N3 in Durban,.

Netcare 911's Chris Botha says four members of a family, including a two-year-old girl, were killed on impact in Saturday's accident.

He says the driver of the second vehicle was seriously injured, and had to be cut from the wreckage, while the child's mother was seriously injured after being ejected from the vehicle.

Botha says both died in hospital on Saturday.
