Six people, accused of the murder of Kaizer Chiefs soccer player Luke Fleurs, have been denied bail in the Roodepoort Magistrate’s Court west of Johannesburg.
They were remanded in custody following their second court appearance on Friday.
The case was postponed to the 27th of June for further investigation.
The 24-year-old soccer player was gunned down in a hijacking before his car was stolen at a petrol station in Roodepoort in April.
His vehicle was later found stripped.
The accused, aged between 21 and 36, face charges of murder, aggravated robbery, possession of firearms and ammunition, and defeating the ends of justice.
