Police in Randburg arrested two suspects in connection with Friday nights break in at musician Lerato "Lira" Molapo's house.
Lira tweeted on Saturday morning that people broke into her home and stole thousands of rands worth of goods including all 10 her SAMA awards.
Spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Katelgo Mogale says the suspects aged 24 and 26 gained entry through a back sliding door that was broken.
One of the suspects was arrested after suspected stolen goods were found in his possession while his accomplice handed himself over to police.
They stole items that included 10 SA Music Awards, laptops,iPods, a music system, cash from the safe and a spare key for the safe.
Police recovered two iPods, two MAC Apple laptops, an amplifier, a cellphone and an Xbox 360.
The men were expected to appear in the Randburg Magistrate's Court on Monday.
