Fuel prices will decrease significantly on Wednesday, 3 July.
The department of energy announced the fuel price adjustment for July on Friday, and said that the price of 93 octane petrol will drop by 96 cents a litre, while 95 octane will cost 95 cents less.
It said the price of diesel will decrease by between 74 and 75 cents less per litre, while the price of paraffin will be reduced by 57 cents per litre.
The department said the main reason for the downward adjustment was a drop in the price of Brent Crude Oil, which went from 71 dollars to 63 dollars per barrel during the period under review.
