A woman who decided to go to a supermarket in Verulam (KZN) without underwear has resulted in two criminal cases being opened with local police.
According to Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) who attended the scene on Monday night, they were met by three irate women in the supermarket's parking lot with one having been shot with a pellet gun in her leg.
It is alleged that three sisters went to the shop when a couple standing behind them in the queue started making comments about one of them not wearing underwear.
The woman, who admitted to going full commando with her tights said the couple mocked her and made rude remarks about them smelling something foul in the queue.
According to the woman, a confrontation ensued that continued in the parking lot where the man allegedly pulled out his pellet gun firing a shot.
RUSA says about half an hour after the woman opened up a criminal case with SAPS, the couple allegedly involved in the altercation arrived at their offices.
The husband confirmed that he had a pellet gun but claimed it was holstered throughout the confrontation.
The couple further denied making any derogatory remarks and claimed they drove off to avoid a further confrontation.
They too opened a criminal case with the police.
