Seven people have been arrested in Umbilo in KwaZulu-Natal for alleged human trafficking and using woman for prostitution.
Police Captain Thulani Zwane says police received a tip-off about a house that was being used as a brothel, and raided the premises over the weekend.
He says during the operation, five females and two men were found in the house.
Zwane says the key suspects, a manager and her son, as well as a security guard, were charged with human trafficking and keeping a brothel, while the other four were charged with prostitution.
The suspects, aged between 22 and 60, will appear in the Durban Magistrate's Court on Monday.
