Free State police are still searching for the killers of an elderly couple on their farm near Parys.
The victims have been identified as 75-year-old Ernst van Rooyen and his 74-year-old wife Annetjie on their farm Somerset.
Their bodies were discovered by their domestic worker in the tuck shop on their farm on Tuesday morning.
Police spokesperson Thandi Mbambo, the elderly man presumably died from stab wounds to his chest while his wife's cause of death is still not known.
Her body was found in a freezer.
Meawhile, the civil rights organisation Afriforum says police minister Nathi Mthethwa's silence on farm attacks borders on collusion.
