Members of the teacher's union Sadtu will take to the streets this week.
The union says it will hold marches in Pretoria and Cape Town on Wednesday.
This, to press home their demand for the resignation of Basic Education Minister, Angie Motshekga and her director general, Bobby Soobrayan.
Sadtu accuses them of undermining the collective bargaining process by unilaterally changing certain agreements.
The union says members will hold pickets at the Union Building in Pretoria and at Parliament in Cape Town.
