South Africa’s foreign policy regarding the embattled Central African Republic remains unchanged.
That's the word from president Jacob Zuma following a weekend meeting with a delegation from that country led by Prime Minister Nicolas Tiangaye.
Zuma said the meeting helped to clarify the relationship between the two countries.
He said South Africa recognised the C-A-R's transitional government, based on the January 2013 agreement signed in Gabon.
President Zuma said part of the transitional road map endorsed by the regional
Economic Community of Central African States was the formation of a national transition council led by interim president, Michel Djotodia.
