The number of people who have died from Coronavirus in South Africa surpassed 15 000.
This is according to the latest available statistics released by the Department of Health on Monday.
Health Minister Dr Zweli Mkhize says the country has a death toll of 15 004 but has a recovery rate of 88.6%.
The number of deaths and active cases currently in the country is:
