Western Cape police fired rubber bullets at striking farmworkers in De Doorns in the early hours of Monday morning.
Police spokesperson, Warrant Officer November Filander, says the protest in De Doorns erupted at around 3am on Monday morning.
Farmworkers in De Doorns in the Western Cape want their minimum daily wage of R69 to R150.
The strike began last August but was called off on the 4th of December.
Since the strike resumed last Wednesday, De Doorns has been the epicentre of violent clashes between protesters and police.
