Road Accident Fund pay of millions to crash survivors

 The Road Accident Fund has paid out over R152 million to crash survivors in four provinces.

The RAF said October Transport Month activities surpassed expectations when the RAF rolled out its suite of services during its outreach campaign in four provinces.

It said it settled over R152 million rand’s worth of claims of over 5800 claimants who had heeded the call to come directly to the
Fund.

The RAF said this had saved on contingency fees because people were able to register new claims, make enquiries, and settle their claims.
