Sentencing procedures in the case against Oscar Pistorius start in the High Court in Pretoria on Monday.
On September 12, Judge Thokozile Masipa found the paralympian not guilty of murdering his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp in his Pretoria townhouse on Valentine's Day last year, but convicted him of culpable homicide.
She said evidence showed that Pistorius acted negligently when he fired into the toilet door knowing there was someone behind it.
With regard to firearms-related charges, Masipa found Pistorius guilty of firing a Glock pistol belonging to his friend Darren Fresco under a table at Tasha's restaurant in Johannesburg in
January 2013.
The trial draws to a dramatic close this week when argument in mitigation and aggravation of sentence is heard from Monday.
Meanwhile in Cape Town British businessman Shrien Dewani, is back in court.
He has pleaded not guilty to masterminding the murder of his wife Anni while the two were on holiday in Cape Town in 2010.
Three men have already been convicted for the crime.
While witness testimony in the Shrien Dewani trial made news headlines this week, revelations around his sexuality set social media alight after the court heard that Dewani was bisexual.
