Rhinos poached this year stand at 220

The Deparment of Environmental Affairs says the number of rhinos poached since the beginning of this year stands at 220.

The Deparment says Kruger National Park, Limpopo, North West and KwaZulu-Natal remain the hardest hit by rhino poachers.

Collectively they account for 207 of the rhinos killed this year alone.

The Department of Environmental Affairs says the total number of arrests for 2012 stands at 146.
