Kim Martin, the cousin of Reeva Steenkamp, is expected to conclude her testimony during sentencing proceedings in the Pretoria High Court.
On Wednesday tears flowed in court as Martin spoke about how it had felt like the "end of the world" when she found out Steenkamp had been killed.
Prosecutor Gerrie Nel is set to wrap up his questioning of Martin who is testifying in aggravation of sentence against Pistorius, convicted of the culpable homicide of Steenkamp, his
girlfriend at the time.
Defence counsel Barry Roux indicated to the court on Wednesday that he would ask Martin only two "short" questions.
Judge Thokozile Masipa has already reminded the lawyers that proceedings need to be concluded soon as she would not be available from next week.
Pistorius was convicted of the culpable homicide of Steenkamp, his girlfriend at the time.
He has also been found guilty of discharging a firearm in public in relation to a separate incident.
