The murder convictions of hip hop artist Molemo "Jub Jub" Maarohanye and Themba Tshabalala have been overturned in the High Court in Johannesburg.
They have instead been found guilty on the lesser charge of culpable homicide.
They were initially jailed for 25 years for killing four children and severely injuring two others while drag racing in Soweto in 2010 while under the influence of drugs and alcohol.They were sentenced in October 2012
The pair have now been sentenced to an effective eight years in jail.
