Political parties wrap up election campaigns

The ANC in the Eastern Cape will be holding its final election rally at East London's Absa Stadium on Sunday.

In an interview with Algoa FM News last week, ANC regional spokesperson, Mlibo Qoboshiyane, called on all ANC supporters to attend the rally this morning.

He said the ANC aims to increase its voter percentage in this year's election to above 80 percent, so that they can continue with the development of the country started 20 years ago.

Meanwhile, ANC president Jacob Zuma, will address the party's Siyanqoba Rally at the FNB stadium in Johannesburg on Sunday morning.

His address will be beamed to different venues around the country where similar rallies are being held.

The Democratic Alliance will host a concert on Sunday to thank their supporters.

DA leader, Helen Zille, will be joined by Gauteng Premier candidate Mmusi Maimane, DA Parliamentary Leader Lindiwe Mazibuko and DA Youth Leader Mbali Ntuli in the celebrations.

On Monday, Zille will be in Nelson Mandela Bay for a public rally at NMMU's Missionvale campus.

She will be accompanied by Eastern Cape leader, Atholl Trollip, and other senior provincial DA officials.
