A Parliamentary committee has condemned the latest farm attack in Harswater in the Northern Cape where a couple and their daughter were kidnapped, robbed and murdered.
The Chairperson of the Portfolio Committee on Agriculture, Land Reform and Rural Development, Nkosi Zwelivelile Mandela also welcomed the arrest of three suspects.
The 83-year-old Dan Brand, his 79-year-old wife Breggie and their 50-year-old daughter Elzabie were attacked on their smallholding in Magong, outside Hartswater on Sunday.
According to reports both their vehicles were stolen and later recovered in Taung.
The body of the daughter has since been found and police are still looking for the bodies of her parents.
Mandela called the attack inhumane and detrimental to the social cohesion that our young democracy needs.
According to Maroela Media, the accused admitted to the murders and are expected to tell police where to find the remaining bodies.
