The Opposition to Urban Tolling Alliance says it needs about R6m more to foot the bill for its legal battle against government over e-tolling.
Alliance chairperson Wayne Duvenhage says they are confident that the funding target will be reached in time, but that the contributions are coming in slower than they had hoped.
It needs R10.8m to cover the costs of two legal cases relating to the Gauteng Freeway Improvement Project.
It has raised R4.8m so far.
The e-tolling project was recently halted after the alliance filed an urgent application in the High Court in Pretoria.
