Oscar breaks silence on anniversary or Reeva's death

As Valentines Day marked a year since the fatal shooting of Reeva Steenkamp, her killer and boyfriend paralympian Oscar
Pistorius expressed grief over her death.

"No words can adequately capture my feelings about the devastating accident that has caused such heartache for everyone who truly loved --and continues to love Reeva," he said in a post
on his website on Friday morning.

"The pain and sadness -- especially for Reeva’s parents, family and friends consumes me with sorrow. The loss of Reeva and the
complete trauma of that day, I will carry with me for the rest of my life."

Steenkamp was shot dead in Pistorius' bathroom on February 14 last year.

Pistorius has not denied killing her, but says it was an accident after he mistook her for an intruder.

Pistorius would stand trial from March 3 for the murder of Steenkamp in the High Court in Pretoria.

For the first time since the shooting, Pistorius turned to twitter.

He wrote: A few words from my heart on http://www.oscarpistorius.com.

The link led to the page where he had written the message about
the shooting.
