Obama pledges increased collaboration with the African Union

US president Barack Obama has pledged increased collaboration with the African Union.
That's according to AU Commission chairperson, dr Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma, who met the US president on Saturday.
She says she discussed issues of common interest aimed at boosting the African Union .. US partnership.
Dr Dlamini Zuma outlines some of the broad areas of discussion she had with Obama, who on Saturday announced a fellowship for young South Africans.
"We discussed peace related issues, trade issues and infrastructure. It was really a very good meeting and initiative for the youth." says Dlamini Zuma
