A nurse at Chris Hani-Baragwanath Hospital has been stabbed by her boyfriend at the hospital in Soweto.
Police captain, Phephi Matlou-Mteto, says the nurse was stabbed 10 times in Thursday attack.
She is being treated at Milpark Hospital while police search for her boyfriend.
Last weekend, a mentally ill man stabbed several people, including an intern doctor, in the same hospital.
The man, who was a patient at the hospital, apparently became aggressive and attacked the doctor and other patients.
