Members of the National Union of Metalworkers of SA in the auto sector will return to work tomorrow.
Numsa secretary-general, Irvin Jim, said today that Numsa decided to end the strike at car manufacturers after workers accepted a new wage deal.
Jim says workers at BMW and Toyota had been unhappy with the offer but had been pursuaded by union leaders.
He says the wage deal included, among other things, an 11.5 percent for 2013, 10 percent for 2014 and 2015.
Production is expected to resum at EC motor plants on Monday.
