The National Prosecuting Authority said it was engaging relevant stakeholders to ensure that murderer Oscar Pistorius appear in court soon.
In a brief statement Sunday, NPA spokesperson, Luvuyo Mfaku, said that this is for the matter to be formally postponed to a suitable date for sentencing.
Last week the Supreme Court of Appeal overturned Pistorius' culpable homicide conviction and found him guilty of murdering his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp.
He now has to receive and appropriate jail sentence by trial judge, Thokozile Masipa.
Mfaku also said no warrant of arrest was issued for Pistorius at this stage.
Meanwhile, ANC Women's League President Bathabile Dlamini paid a courtesy call on June Steenkamp on Sunday.
This, after an ANC Women's League member blundered during a television interview on the Oscar Pistorius Appeals Court judgement, saying "Steenkamp (and not Pretorius) should rot in hell."
The member repeated the mistake during the interview, no doubt leaving the Women's League, which had been there to support June Steenkamp, a little red-faced.
ANC Women's League spokesperson, Thoko Xasa, said the visit to the Metro by the Women's League president formed part of an election programme that will culminate in the launch of the Women's League volunteers on the 20th.
But, she said they also discussed what she said was an unfortunate "slip of the tongue" by an excited Women's League member.
